My uncle Irving always had an eye out for seed crops that might do well in the Boise Valley. This appears to be a field of alfalfa. It was in Nebraska along US 30 somewhere between Chappelle and Ogallala. My uncle specialized in raising onion seed, but he added alfalfa seed to his crops in the 1960s.
