Super Bowl Sunday

Chips, dip and soda. Picnic foods like Frankfurters, Buns, Mustard and Ketchup.

February

In the grocery store, look for buys on Citrus fruit, Broccoli, Carrots and Celery.

March

March is Frozen Foods Month, so Frozen dinners, Frozen fruits and vegetables, Frozen pancakes and waffles, even Ice cream, Ice cream bars and other frozen confections will be on sale.

Also Supplies for baking, Butter, Coconut, Corned beef (for St. Patrick’s Day), Ham, Eggs and Peanuts should be reduced in price. Save on Household cleaning products.

Easter

April

July

Fourth of July picnics spur discounts on Meats for grilling, Condiments, Disposable plates and utensils, Chips and soda. Also find sales this month on Butter, Baked beans and Bottled water.

August

Air Conditioners, Camping Equipment, Furniture, Gardening Equipment, Hardware, Housewares, Lamps, Paint, Rugs, School Clothes and School Supplies, Towels and Bedding.

At fruit stands and grocery stores, look for bargains on fresh Green beans, Beets, Corn, Cucumbers, Peas, Peppers, Tomatoes, Apricots, Avocados, Blackberries, Blueberries, Grapes, Melons, Nectarines, Peaches and Pears.

Back-to-School sales include the grocery store: Bread, Prepackaged lunch trays (meats and cheeses), Lunch meat, Pudding cups, also Cold cereals and waffles and Hand sanitizing gels and wipes.

September

New cars, batteries and mufflers, Dishes, Children’s clothes, Housewares, Hardware, Paint, Carpet and Furniture.

The peak season for apples and eggplant has arrived. Look for specials on Blueberries, Grapes, Melons and Pineapple. Vegetables on sale include Beets, Corn, Peppers, Tomatoes and Winter squash.

Look for price breaks on foods for school lunches: Bread, Cookies, Juice, Pudding cups and Prepackaged lunch trays and Lunch meat. Also there will be buys on Canned Tomatoes, Tomato soups and Spaghetti sauce, Cold cereal, Candy, Diabetic supplies, Chocolate chips and nuts for baking, Fruitcake, Toaster pastries and Waffles.

October

December
